L’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di Dublino, che aveva sostenuto anche la prima edizione del concorso, ha continuato a credere nelle finalità che esso si propone: creare un ponte culturale tra due Paesi sul quale far transitare liberamente le emozioni che l’Isola Verde è in grado di generare nei visitatori italiani.
Il ponte è rappresentato dal libro “L’Irlanda nel cuore”, scaturito dalla prima edizione.
A cura dell’istituto Italiano di Cultura di Dublino e per interessamento del suo Direttore, Prof. Bruno Busetti, il libro è stato tradotto in inglese con il titolo “Ireland in the Heart”.
Racconti, poesie, folgorazioni finalmente rese comprensibili a due diverse sensibilità culturali. Siamo certi che il libro “Ireland in the Heart” contribuirà a celebrare l’universale desiderio di condivisione.

The Istituto Italiano di Cultura, which also supported the first edition of the competition, believes very strongly in the project’s driving force: the creation of cultural conduits
between our two countries in which the emotions that the Emerald Isle is capable of stimulating in Italian visitors may freely flow.
The elegant volume “L’Irlanda nel cuore”, encapsulating the best of the 2008 competition, has given these emotions physical form. With an English translation it may be read by Irish and Italians alike, rendering its tales, poems, and sensations accessible to two different cultural sensibilities. We are sure that “Ireland in the heart” will celebrate and contribute to the universal need to share emotions and experiences.
This evening the Istituto Italiano di Cultura will provide the setting for a fluid presentation of the project from its first inception to the growing success of the current edition.
Complimentary copies of the book will be offered to the public on the night.
